Westminster Senior Citizens Forum | Westminster Community Information
Westminster Senior Citizens Forum is a group run by older people, for older people in Westminster.
Its main aim is to provide advice and act as an information resource for older people in the City of Westminster and also to lobby on various issues on their behalf.
The Forum holds four meetings a year, plus an AGM.
A wide range of subjects of importance and concern to the Senior Citizens of Westminster is covered including Transport (Speakers from Parking in Westminster, Dial A Ride and Transport for All), Health issues (Discharge from Hospital, Warm and Healthy Homes, Energy Grants, Sight, Hearing, Preventing Falls), Security and Safety (Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhoods Support), Westminster City Council Adult Services Personalisation Scheme, and on a lighter note Speakers from the world of Entertainment, Sports, Leisure and Well Being, and Fitness.
Our meetings always include a lively Q & A Session with the speakers, and distribution of very useful and informative literature.
At the end of each meeting, the audience is invited to make suggestions for future topics.
The Forum also aims to provide social events and outings, so that some of its members feel a little less isolated, and more in touch with the outside world.
The address on this page is the Forum’s registered address but meetings are held elsewhere. Please see events listings for details.
Membership is £5.00 a year.
