Provides access to justice to un-represented litigants and potential litigants in the Royal Courts of Justice and the Principal Registry of the Family Division, through the provision of legal and other advice services.
The RCJ has two branches, one for civil law matters at the Royal Courts of Justice and the other, at the Principal Registry of the Family Division, for family law and general advice including; consumer, debt, housing, employment and welfare benefits.
For civil law matters: advice by appointment only. For an appointment telephone – 020 3475 8996.
For family law and general advice: initial interview appointment can be made by telephone – 020 3137 6935, or in person from 2pm – 4pm Monday to Thursday at The Principal Registry of the Family Division, 4th Floor.
