The Cockpit houses a unique, purpose built, black-box theatre with a number of spaces available for hire.

Type of event: show, rehearsal, photo or film shoot, auditions, band practice, writing session, seminars.

Auditorium: a large, versatile space seating up to 240 in-the-round, or 180 in its standard thrust configuration.

Studio 1: large room with natural daylight, a thick, Harlequin rehearsal dance floor, mirrored wall, and sound system with CD player and input for iPods. There is also a small room available for changing in.

Studio 2: used for small group rehearsals, auditions and readings. As an ex-recording studio, the space is suitable for recording, although it is no longer entirely sound-proof.

Studio 3: a bright, tall room with four large skylights. It can be laid out with tables and chairs, or left clear. Whiteboards are available, and phone and internet connections can be provided.

Foyer: the Foyer is included as part of a show hire, but is also available independent of the auditorium for smaller events.
